This quilt was started at the beginning of the new year and was going to be a joint project be myself and my sister as a wall quilt for her room at work.
But seeing as I don't play well with others where sewing machines are concerned I took the project and completed it. It has been waiting for about 2 weeks to have the hanging sleeve attched and now it is finally completed and can hang in its new home

Royal Blood
No stitching to report, have been to Wellington to see Royal Blood in concert - awesome show. It may only be January but think it will be the best show I attend this year.... Only downside was the bus ride, older bus with broken air conditioning for both trips and temps around 30 degrees.

Craft today
Today I had a friend's kids for the day so in the afternoon we did craft and coloured and made a fox I found online from mister finch. I want to make a whole flock of them.

Made the first cake for the year for a friend of my sisters daughter. Thankfully had a purchased Dora, Boots and dog so only had to make the backpack, map, Swiper and the stars.

Thanks Lee
On Saturday our local embroidery Guild had it's work day and Lee showed us how to make her decorations. She told us we should finish one on the day - as long as we didn't talk too much... I left with not a lot done guessing I talked too much but tonight I have completed it.
I did manage to upend one of my buttons into my cup of tea!

It's Christmas Time
Well eyes and 15 minutes a day has well proven to much for me and has gone by the way for the time being. Not much else has been stitched which beyond slack but hope to sort that out some time soon. I have been making dala horses and deer 'skulls' for the Christmas tree along with a pop corn garland
