Hmm once again weeks have past and I have achieved very little, this really is very poor. The class with Alison Snepp went well, post class progress is a tad slow as I am unsure about one thread stitch combination and due to copyright form signed am unable to post pictures of progress.
The guild Jacobean project continues to grow and I am loving stitching it - a good thing as I may own a large chart and the fabric thread to complete it....
Have dragged an old project out and have been working on it and am pleased with progress. The penny mat kit was purchased years ago at a craft show and got put in the naughty corner when I discovered some if the circles were not centered perfectly when I stitched them together but I have decided to get over it and continue - this lax attitude has surprised and concerned me but an sure it won't become a permanent setting.
Am going to start a new project - naughty- as it arrived today and it is to be a gift for a special friend. The rabbit will get surfaced stitched and then made into a pillow am excited about this but no doubt will end up crippled with decisions about colours and stitches so progress may be slow! T towel is from www.sarahyoung.co.uk great service and came beautifully packaged!

Am a useless Blogger it must be said. Don't seem to have be doing things I can blog at present but have had a really enjoyable long weekend with a friend from Christchurch. She wanted to make a quilt so bought up a collection of fabric to make a triangle quilt. She got well on the way, when it's finished it will be 6 blocks by 9 blocks. Today we made 'fox blocks' mine only got as far as the top where as Jessie quilted and bound hers. It has been a fantastic weekend.
Progress is being made on the Guild piece and even through Tracy Franklin has finished her Crathorne bug mine is still to be completed....

Progress of sorts
Well, I have procrastinated over the seeding stitch and done it so well that the next step has been released, so the bug now has legs. I am really enjoying this piece. Need to get the Guild crewel work piece onto the frame and get this month's stitching done....

Preparation
Tonight 8 members of the embroidery Guild I belong too will be starting a new project - The Jacobean Leaf Sampler from Royal School of Needlework Embroidery Techniques book. This project will be stitch over many months with a sections instructions being given each month in hope all members keep up and complete the project. So I have spent the last couple of days transferring the design for everyone. Ended up using the traditional prick and pounce technique.
