Am back from holiday - got back on Tuesday but have been feeling under the weather so a tad lazy posting. I have kept up with my 15 mins a day - though yet to do todays so will post that later. Am stitching faster but with speed comes a drop in the level of accuracy and overall 'niceness' but hope those will pick up as I gain better needle control for now will continue to look for speed and no unpicking as main targets. Football was fantastic even without Andy Carroll playing
Hmmm bad planning to start this project when I am off away for a few days so no posts till Tuesday but have packed fabric so will keep up. Had hoped to stitch today's before I left but ran out of time so will do it in Wellington tonight. hope the football games are worth the trip but with Carroll injured I'm not so sure.
Have discovered a small flaw in the plan, todays eye is nothing like yesterdays, so I think I will have to make a template of the official shape so I can accurately evaluate progress.Sound track for the project is Arctic Monkeys 2 tracks Fluorescent Adolescent and Kneesocks
Today is day one of my attempt to stitch for 15 mins a day with no unpicking - each day I will stitch an eye, well part of an eye with the hope that at the end of 96 days there will be some improvement in both speed and technique. This is an adaptation of the 100 days project, I am starting late and the frame only fitted 96 squares so thats what I'm doing.
