Day 39 - 41

Hmm once again I have been slack and this post is to catch up on the stitched eyes so far. Have not stitched yet today so will post that later. Have no idea what day I should be at so will make today day 42 and hope to have a clean run from now....

Day 36 - 38

Am having a shocker so will post pics on phone so far, I  gave missed a couple of days so end date is once again moved eck. Also posting pic of first 3 rows complete.

Day 32 - 35

Gosh I suck at blogging, there really is no excuse for the delay in actually posting!  So here are the last 4 days of work, not really seeing any progress in either how much is stitched or the quality but tomorrow sees the completion of 3 rows so will post the big picture then.

Really pleased with today's effort, long and short on the white of the eye is one of my favorites and the transition between the white and the iris is improving.

Day 30

Not the greatest day today, a bit slow and a few gaps to be seen when I zoom in on the  picture - down side of the camera on the phone oh well will have to hope for better tomorrow.

Day 26 - 29

Gosh posting has been a disaster but at least the stitching has been achieved. A bit of a mixed bag really pleased with day 27 and 29, 28 was a tad ugly but am learning you get that.

Hmm not sure what disaster happened here but caught a thread and created an ugly gap, really wanted to unpick but as that is not the rule had to leave it.

Progress on the 96 days challenge continues and tomorrow sees 2 rows complete and when I compare i am stitching alot more than when I began and on the whole i am getting happier with the stitching. My basic satin is going well and I have definitely speed up but the long and short still needs a lot of work good thing there are still plenty of days left.

Hmmm so not such good work yeaterday - got the stitching done but no post ohh well here it is today. Have managed to increase the amount of stitching so pleased with that.

Am I on a roll with this or what!!! Have finally managed to get in the swing of stitching AND blogging on the same day!!! Stuck with yellow today - don't like stitching with yellow - and once again made good progress but there are still some very ugly stitches to be seen.

Still loving Royal Blood so will continue with that as soundtrack. Think it is time to get on with some other stitching projects so will keep updated with those, today I off to sew a quilt top in William Morris fabrics that I purchased in 2012 before the London trip so high time I started it me thinks.

Day 19 a break through

Yippee today I got to stitch some iris, in order to achieve this though the 'white' stitching did suffer a tad but hopefully this will improve again.

Blue was not so bad today!! Progress is not improving so am beginning to think this may be as fast as I can stitch... But still quite a few days to go so who knows.

Have stunned myself and stitched and posted all before morning tea!!! Wonder if I am able to repeat this. Shocking piece of stitching today, got a lot done but no idea what is happening on the left side of the 'white' where it meets the pupil took all my self control not to unpick and not happy with todays overall stitching. Maybe Royal Blood is not the right stitching soundtrack but as I love it so much will persevere.

Maybe the colour choice had something to do with the final result cos I most definitely feel a tad blue about it!

Attack of pinkeye for the last 3 days, strange colour choice for me!!! But progress is improving - although today I did not make it onto the pupil split stitch. New soundtrack is Royal Blood the ep is 2 seconds off 15 mins - perfect!!

Opps failed to post yesterday but did do the stitching and it appears I am speeding up as for the last 2 days have begun to split stitch the pupil so hope soon to be able to put some stitches in the pupil.

Yippee I've finally made it back to stitching for 15 minutes. Was good to get back have slowed down a wee bit from previous days but still pleased with the amount I achieved lets hope this is back on track now.

Hmmm not doing very well at posting stitching on the day but am at least doing the stitching!! Today I am off to New Plymouth for a post ANZEG conference class for 4 days with Hilary Hollingworth, I may not be cool enough for the class but will give it go - my set of water colour paints may finally get used!! Am yet to stitch todays eye but will do that tonight so on Tuesday will have a big post of eyes and class.

Catch upy

Am back from holiday - got back on Tuesday but have been feeling under the weather so a tad lazy posting. I have kept up with my 15 mins a day - though yet to do todays so will post that later. Am stitching faster but with speed comes a drop in the level of accuracy and overall 'niceness' but hope those will pick up as I gain better needle control for now will continue to look for speed and no unpicking as main targets.
